Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Km 104 – Wiñay Wayna – Aguas Calientes

  • Trek Begins: Embark on a hike to the Chachabamba ruins, followed by a gradual climb to Wiñay Wayna, an impressive Inca site.

  • Afternoon: Continue trekking to the Sun Gate for a first glimpse of Machu Picchu. Descend to Aguas Calientes for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

  • Early Morning: Take the first bus to Machu Picchu, arriving in time to witness the sunrise.
